Our Story
Botanical Bones is a family business thoughtfully making superfood + adaptogenic dog treats in Asheville, NC.
Our rescue dog, Carnaby, was an anxious puppy. When we brought him home from the shelter in April 2020, we wanted to help calm his nerves.
As new dog owners, we decided to start by addressing our dog's struggles the same we would our own: in the kitchen.
Mixing up healthy human-grade ingredients we had in our pantry, we soon found a winning combination of superfoods, adaptogens and peanut butter that Carnaby loved!
He loved them so much we started giving them out to the neighborhood pups. Pretty soon we realized we needed to share these super natural treats with the world! 
 
FOOD IS MEDICINE
We believe that all living creatures are at their best when consuming foods that nourish the mind, body and soul. Our dog treats are made in small batches with nutrient-dense clean ingredients that dogs love + superfoods and adaptogens to promote wellness.

Human Grade Ingredients
Dogs have 125 million sensory cells in their noses. This means that to dogs, scent is everything when it comes to food. Our treats are packed with ethically sourced, high quality ingredients and they smell like a peanut butter cookie, so they pass the sniff test every single time.
