Stepp's Hillcrest Orchard

Hello WalkTail Hour Community,

Our family decided to drive up from Charleston, SC to Asheville, NC for a long weekend.  Over the weekend we took a trip down to Hendersonville, NC in apple country.  Someone recommended Stepp's Hillcrest Orchard and we were not disappointed.

They have a lovely open set up with plenty of rows of apple trees to go exploring with wonderful views at the top of the orchard.  They had a corn maze for kids and one for adults.  They had a couple play areas around the main barn for kids and of course the apple launchers!  We also had a great time going through the pumpkin patch and the hay ride.  The main barn was full of apples, pumpkins, apple cider, apple donuts, and many other goodies.

Our furry friends were welcome on a leash and had such a great time!  We highly recommend this little day trip if you are in the area.
